FLICS, Bakersfield's International Cinema Society, has been hosting films from around the world since 1983. We are an all volunteer organization dedicated to bringing the finest international films to audiences in our community. If you are new to FLICS, please review our selection policy prior to your first viewing visit, this will help you determine who should be comfortable with our screening selections.
Our films are shown at the historic FOX Theater, located at the corner of 20th and "H" streets in downtown Bakersfield. Built in 1930, and lovingly restored by the dedicated folks of the Fox Theater Foundation, the Fox Theater provides the perfect setting to view our selection of outstanding feature films.
